Three village youngsters have successfully fundraised thousands of pounds for an inclusive roundabout for the Playing Field.

Ava, Layla and Scarlett approached the Parish Council last year to request a piece of equipment that could be used by disabled and able-bodied children together. They decided upon an inclusive roundabout and started fundraising. They sold hand made goods at the Community Council craft fayre and organised 'Guess the name of the teddy' and 'How many sweets in the jar' stalls.

Grants were awarded by Cllrs Reeves and Ninnmey from East Suffolk Council, the Rope Trust and the Lovewell Blake Fund. The Parish Council made up the shortfall with Community Infrastructure Levy from the Castlemore Homes development on Oak Tree View in Levington Lane.

The Roundabout is now fully installed on the Playing Field for all villagers and their guests to enjoy thanks to the endeavors of these three girls.

Well done ladies!
