...OK, so not that sort of fencing.
Ex Bucklesham School pupil, James Lobley, has been spending hours each weekend for months litter picking our lanes and paths for his bronze Duke of Edinburgh. Thank you SO MUCH James, the whole village salutes you!
Bucklesham's Knitters have created a 7ft Christmas tree which stands proudly in the font in St Mary's Church. There are 271 knitted or crocheted squares complete with decorations, all knitted of course! Well done to Wendy Hubbard and the team. It truly is a magnificent sight.
Councillor Lenton has been busy again, putting up more signs for the Village ~ someone needs a hobby!
Today our drains have been emptied, our roads swept and our gutters cleared. Thanks Highways for responding to our requests so promptly. We have been beautified!
Bright and early on Friday morning your Bucklesham Parish Councillors donned their High Viz vests and started an annual clean and straighten up of the roadside signs. We will endeavour to get round the whole village in the next few weeks.

Unfortunately due to copious amounts of litter being left by visitors to our Playing Field, we have had to shut the vehicle access gate. The field is for use by the inhabitants of Bucklesham village and access is still available to villagers via the pedestrian gate.
As of 4th July 2020 the Play Area on the Playing Field will be open again.
Bucklesham has a new Village Website.
